Before we dive into talking about how to use promotional gifts as an effective branding tool, let’s revisit some branding basics. The whole purpose of having a brand is to make sure that anyone who sees anything related to your business (like your logo, your products and services, etc) will immediately associate quality with your business. The desired result is that these potential or existing customers will be more willing to pay more to buy your products and services because they can recognize a good brand when they see one. Let’s take a closer look at how this is achieved. One look at your logo, and the prospect or customer makes a judgment about you and your business. That’s how powerful a brand is. Whether or not they eventually decide to do any business with you depends on that one quick moment. But what is alliance one collection agency actually happening right here? How can anyone judge anything so quickly? People often judge based on prior experiences. Sometimes, they may not even remember the experiences very well but they have got this feeling somewhere. And they judge based on that. So if you have ever delivered a poor quality product, allowed a cheesy logo to get on your business cards, or do anything that spells “poorly done”, your customers will give you the “death sentence” based on that. It doesn’t matter how well you do in the future, but right now, they have been given a poor experience, and they have decided that everything related to your company is going to be bad. That’s not necessarily true, but it doesn’t matter. If customers think that way, it’s true to them. And it’s going to be an uphill battle to try and change their minds.
